Being a full-time artist in this period of time and\u003cbr\u003ecurrent state of the world can be tricky. I find it hard to find the\u003cbr\u003ebalance, while being at home. Social media is very addicting and\u003cbr\u003etakes up a chunk of my time and it’s not really something I enjoy\u003cbr\u003eusing my time on. The work depicts film strips of “memories.” I\u003cbr\u003ewant to look back on these and have ones of time spent with family,\u003cbr\u003efriends and community (grey memories), of creativity and doing\u003cbr\u003emy paintings (light brown memories), of gardening (dark brown\u003cbr\u003ememories), swimming (blue memories) and of getting out onto\u003cbr\u003ethe land (green memories). These are layered with hypnotising\u003cbr\u003eswirls and on top of those are energy lines, representing living in,\u003cbr\u003eand being completely present in these moments.
