This piece is a visual metaphor of having the\u003cbr\u003eguidance, support and knowledge from our old people always surrounding us.\u003cbr\u003eThe blanket represents Blak business and the comfort and overall safeness I feel when\u003cbr\u003einteracting with these businesses. These old crochet blankets, that live long lives\u003cbr\u003ethrough the generations give me a sense of connection and a want to follow as it is a\u003cbr\u003efamiliar and gratified relationship.\u003cbr\u003eThe blanket is made up of many colourful rectangles, which are all unique in there\u003cbr\u003eown way - they reference the individual businesses that make up the blanket.
